Dog Walking up Arthur’s Seat

Had an amazing walk with my dog pack today up on Arthur’s Seat. The weather was amazing as you can see from my photo, clear blue skies and a gentle winter breeze, it’s on days like this I love to dog walk and I feel so lucky to do it in Edinburgh with all the beautiful parks.

One of my other passions, other than dogs, is photography, and I like to take pictures of my dogs on every walk I go on. I’m going to start putting up more pictures in this blog to show some of my doggy highlights.

Places I walk with dogs

One of the best things about being a dog walker in Edinburgh is I’m not short of beautiful parks, greens paces, coastal walks and other amazing vistas to take dogs to.

I tend to gravitate towards same ones each week because of where I pick dogs up, but I try and push myself to go to one new place each week.

My regular dog walks are normally at Arthur’s Seat and Blackford Hill as they provide great seclusion away from nusy roads . Other great beach walks are Portobello, but that too can get quite busy with dogs who want the sand between their toes.

Edinburgh also has loads of great parks and my favourites to take a few dogs are Holyrood Park, King George V park and Victoria Park, which are all handy when you’re in the centre of the city and wanting a quiet place to walk away from any cars. Also there is Drum Brae park which is particularly handy for me as it’s right next to my house.

Really, I’m spoilt for choice!

If you live any where near these places and you need your dog out and about walking and discovery Edinburgh  please, get in touch.

But now, I’m happy to say I’ve just had my busiest month of dog walking ever! I’ve met so many new dogs and owners and I’ve travelled all over Edinburgh, so I can’t complain at all.
